Memorial Weekend

Next weekend I will be pretty busy. My parents want to go sturgeon fishing and my friend wants me to go camping with her. I've narrowed it down to that I will be going camping for a day or two then going with my family to John day to fish. Since my brother wont be with us I'll be taking my boyfriend with me since he has never fished for sturgeon. I can't wait and I know it will be a blast with the craziness.

Right now if it was hot out side and I could do anything, I would definitely be at the lake. The weather is just right for a water side tan, some tubing or knee boarding, and some BBQ food. The best part would be inviting a ton of my friends and just us go up and have a lake day. Even swimming in the water off the shore would be a blast.

Funny Accident

Last year, I went to prom as a sophomore. I didn't know what to expect but i knew I wanted to have fun. My date and I had decided to have dinner at my best friends house since both our dates were good friends. Dustin, my friends boyfriend, was the driver for the night. He had borrowed his dads White lifted 2004 Chevy to make a good appearance. We were all getting out of the truck at the spotted mule when I caught my foot and fell out of the truck. I was laughing at myself and also had a bloody knee. My date asked me how I fell and all I could think about was that I had tripped over my own feet. To this day I still get crap for it and since prom is coming up I am hoping to not make the same mistake.

Tartan Day

Tartan day is a day for the over eleven million Americans that  claimed their Scottish and Scotch-Irish roots which makes them the eighth largest ethnic group in the United States. Some of their traditions are having large dinners or going to a bar and grill and listening to a piper while they enjoy time with other Scottish Americans. Another is larger parades through large cities.  The significance of this day is for those to be recognized for Scottish American heritage.

Dream Vacation

If i could go on any trip to anywhere that i wanted, it would definitely be to Rome. I have always been so fascinated with the area and wanted to see it in real life. I love watching the shows and movies that take place there and really want to experience it for myself. My mom has always told me the scenery is beautiful and the art is amazing. I would definitely love to have my face painted or have a picture to take home from there.

Spring break

Over the break I made a great journey with my youth group to Tecate to build a church. Our luck, it poured. We had one day of sun shine and even then it was iffy. The warmest I think it got was low 70's. When we were all finished, we packed up our site and made our way to LA. Last friday we were able to spend a whole day in Disney Land and it definetally was a whole day. Me and my friend Cody spent all day going from disney land to california adventure doing the Ace Venchura walk and laughing. Traditionally we go to McDonalds when the parks close at midnight and have ice cream. Let alone would I have known that we were going to be there until 2am. It was a great trip and I'm so excited for next year.

St. Patricks Day

During this.. interesting holiday, i will be in my room packing vigorously. The fact that I am leaving for Mexico the next day will make my whole holiday 

stressful. It is definitely going to be interesting since 

everyone will be watching to see if I am wearing 

green. I hate being pinched but I know its part of the

 holiday. Seeing how everyone dresses and how involved

 people will get is going to be the most exciting part.

If I could right now...

Right now if I could do anything, I would probably be in Christmas Valley visiting my family and hanging out with my friends out there. I love to go shooting and ride quads with the people my age I have met over the years.  Many of them i have become really close with, and it has become a                           tradition that when I go to visit we ride quads and go to the store and get some kind of sweet. There is snow outside and this would be the perfect time to have fun with the four wheelers pulling sleds or ski's or even old snowboards. i would love to be in Christmas Valley right now. I love it there.

Snow day

When my mom came in and told me we had I snow day the first thing I did was roll over and go back to sleep. It was so nice to finally sleep in. later on that day i went to a movie and later lunch with my boyfriend. He didn't have to work and I did"nt have basketball so it was a perfect time to relax and hang out. After all that i came home and enjoyed the rest of the night by the fire talking with my parents.

My Summer

    My whole summer consisted of working and basketball. I work out on a farm in Christmas Valley, and that takes close to a total of 4 weeks out of the summer. When I'm out there, I Service the main tractors, run the swathers and rakes day through night till a field is finished, and rake fields when the hay is dry enough.
    Since farming doesn't start till the very end of June, I was able to participate in our summer ball. We ad many tournaments and left for Western Oregon University for a team camp for teams through out the country. it was really fun because we were able to play a team from Alaska that was ranked first in their state. It was really fun getting close with all my team mates and enjoying ourselves. I know that even with the games and working, i was able to hit up the lake a few times and get in my tubing and knee boarding.
  this year was a huge success for me for the fact i was able to clear the wake finally. it took a few hard crashes but i finally hit the wake just right.
   I had by far the best summer I have had in my high school years.
